ABOUT THE FARRIER:

I am a 13 year Veteran of the US. Army where I served with Co. C 1/75th Ranger Battalion and was attached to the 10th Special Forces. I served in Grenada, Central America, and thru out Africa and many other places in the world. I worked 3 years out of Fort Dix, New Jersey as a Drill Instructor. I have also worked as a Drill Instructor with the Young Marine Corp out of Fort Dix, New Jersey. After my military service I have worked as a truck driver, and a Iron Worker as a connector.

My military service and jobs after the service have taught me leadership skills and dedication to a job and how to think outside the box when making decisions when a problem arises. This has helped me in making my business as a Certified Journeyman Farrier a successful business. I take my clients and welfare of your horse to the highest level and apply a shoeing schedule tailored to your horse and your riding habits. I have a impeccable track record of on time service so these are not just words to me they are my oath to the client.

I attended Tennessee State Blacksmith and Farrier School Master Farrier Course and graduated top of my class and have continuated my education ever since. We attend many clinic and feed clinics thru out the year and keep up on the newest ideas and techniques in Farrier care. My specialties are laminitis, founder, white line syndrome, and navicular. But my daily duties include all aspect of Farrier work and corrective shoeing when needed. In the last three years I have been the leading Farrier in barefoot trimming in this area with many successful transitions from shod to barefoot.

My wife has and does travel with me on jobs and has been my inspiration in making this business as successful as it has become. Without her backing me and doing research for me I would not be as far as I am today. I have been married to her for 24 years and we have four children. We try to run this business on a six day schedule, but can be flexible to your particular schedules on individual bases.

We have worked with some of the worse cases around which included a horse that the coffin bone sunk all the way thru the sole on four feet. I have dealt with everything from sinker to a horse with a severe case of a maggot infection in the foot. We have done lots of work with the dwarf miniture horse and all the limb problems that comes with it and had 100% success. Anything else you want to know or have questions just call and we can discuss your particular problem
